Re: incoming PAP authentication failures



Check the permissions on /etc/ppp/pap-secrets. I think pppd ignores the file unless the perms are 600. I'd like to gripe here about the
woeful state of debugging wrt pppd. More than once I've had to strace the thing to find out what's failing. It could use some better
error messages.
