Linux is damn robust !
I just had my system reporting the following load:
6:35pm up 2:22, 4 users, load average: 23.37, 77.76, 47.23
How many commercial Unices would have supported that, without anything
crashing (syslogd still here - nothing in the logs) ?
For the record, it was an unwanted recursive make, interrupted in the
95th iteration, on this machine:
Linux bylbo 2.0.33-std #2 Wed Dec 31 16:38:10 CET 1997 i486 unknown
