Re: Multi-Boot



   Maybe someone else out there with a bigger, more interesting, system can
   add some comment...

Personally, I have the following setup:

	Adaptec 2940UW
	3 x 4.3 GB UW SCSI HDDs
	3 x 128 MB swap, one per drive
	128 MB root partition on /dev/sda
	RAID-0 across the remaining space on all drives

It gets me some really good performance.  I ran `bonnie' today.  Here
are the numbers (see the PII/233 line), along with some other
computers' figures for comparison:

You might want to consider combining your drives with RAID-0 (or some
other level) in such a manner as well.
