Matrox Millenium II & XWindows problem
I am unable to get my Millenium Matrox II driving my ViewSonic 15
to come up in XWindows in anything but 320 X 200. I don't know if I
am configuring things correctly for the Millenium Matrox II.
According to an FAQ from the Matrox Millenium Xserver group just about
everything is autodetected in the SVGA server. I upgraded my
xserver-svga to debian package 3.3-4. It claims to support the MGA 2064W
video chipset. I am unsure what the deal is with the clockchip.
Any help is greatly appreciated I'm sure Someone out there is probably
running a Matrox Millenium II ( I here it is considered an excellent
card for X) and knows the exact cause of my problem. Below is
info from my XF86Config and output from startx as add'l details which
might be necessary.

Specifically all of the modes being deleted must mean something is wrong.
Furthermore the "SVGA: PCI: Matrox Unknown chipset..." indicates to me
that the Xserver really isn't convinced that I have the Matrox
Millenium II. (I guess it thinks I have a generic chipset with 64K of
videoram)
I assume anyone wanting to help would have question about my XF86Config
