Debian 1.3/1.3.X=stable=bo=libc5 release
Debian 2.0=unstable=hamm=libc6(gnulibc2) release

You can use unstable packages (like kernel-source) if they do not
depend on libc6.  I haven't tried reverse compatibility however...
someone else may know.  I wouldn't see a problem though if dpkg doesn't
give you errors.
