Two options you can try:
1. Use hfs or chfs from the hfsutils package.
2. Try hfs_fs, which provides the Mac filesystem as a kernel module.
If this isn't packaged for Debian, try
<URL:http://www-sccm.Stanford.EDU/~hargrove/HFS/>.
I haven't tried accessing a Mac zip disk myself, just VFAT and ext2fs
formatted ones.
