bad magic number

Hi,

After installing 2.0.31-pre10 a few days ago I started getting these
messages:-

Warning: bad magic number for tty struct (04:40) in release_dev
rs_close: bad serial port count; tty->count is 1, info->count is 2

04:40 looks after the modem and there is no mouse on ttyS1.
I changed to 2.0.31 today but the errors persist.
