question on free

Hi,

Whenever the memory usage on my machine goes up and I use free I get the
following

             total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached
Mem:         63252      57316       5936      31364       9492
-/+ buffers:            47824    4190748
                                 ^^^^^^^ 
Swap:       130748          0     130748      31016

Obviously this is wrong. Is this a bug or what ?
