I user the "super" package (I guess you could use sudo as well).
This is the line from /etc/super.tab :
booten "/sbin/shutdown -r now" martinb
and /usr/local/bin/booten is just:
super booten
Then I just add a menu option for /usr/local/bin/booten (in a submenu,
so I don't hit it by mistake).
