supposedly coming out in a couple of weeks. If so, i think i'll take it.

nope. even though the chipset will, the board only supports 512 cache.
And again, the chipset will cache 256, but i have a report from someone
else who spoke with the manager that it will only cahce 64. If this is
true, i'll pass

also just plain faster in cycles. i'll be doing lots of access, and
need these.

it looks like waiting for the hot 603 is worth it--if you can wait.
