yup, I agree with Philippe Troin (phil@fifi.org) in that this is most
likely a hardware problem. I've faced this "signal 11" problem before
and am always scared to death when I see it.
The best place I've found to look for information regarding the "signal 11"
problem is at http://www.bitwizard.nl/sig11/. I strongly recommend
you take a look at this document.
