Don't do complete installation!!!!
Make network work, download base packages, and before using dselect don't
forget to do the following "by hand":
dpkg --clear-avail
dpkg -i ldso_*.deb
dpkg -i libc5_*.deb
dpkg -i dpkg_*.deb dpkg-ftp_*.deb
dpkg --purge --force-depends texbin # this one in case you already
installed texbin package
Also, do not try to install everything in one pass, do it be small
portions.
