Mine is a SMC9332BDT.  Works with the Tulip driver from Donald Becker's web
page compiled into the kernel, or loaded as a module, with Slackware 3.0.
Using Slackware 3.2, I had to compile it into the kernel otherwise loading
the module would freeze the system.

Have not installed Debian yet...
