1.2's old because it hasn't changed in many months. We're still developing
the menu system, and when 1.2 was released, it had a very early version of
the menu system, I think.

Right. You'll have to get it out of 1.3. Probably should wait until you
decide to upgrade to 1.3, becuase I doubt many packages in 1.2 provide the
right kind of menu files any way.
