I recall there being attempts at some DCE clients for Linux (posted to
comp.os.linux.announce?).

You can download the DCE source (175M!) from here:

The Open Group is working with "the commercial Linux community" to make DCE
for Linux available.  The license agreements mean that at least one person
per organization will have to build DCE from source (via rpm -ba, for
example) but other than that we'll have it.

RPM was specifically mentioned in the announcement I saw--I don't know if
they're working with anybody besides RedHat but I they're open to that, I
think.

I'd guess that we have a year or so until we can 'rpm -i DCE.rpm' but it
will be nice when it happens :)
