Can't load modules into kernel.

Hello all,

Did a recompile to version 2.1.26. Everything works fine except that I
cant load the three loadable modules I compiled.

Here is what I get:

/ # depmod -av
*** Unresolved symbols in module /lib/modules/2.1.26/misc/appletalk.o
*** Unresolved symbols in module /lib/modules/2.1.26/net/bsd_comp.o
*** Unresolved symbols in module /lib/modules/2.1.26/net/dummy.o
/ #
/ #
/ #
/ # insmod appletalk
kernel_version needed, but can't be found
/ #
/ #
/ # modprobe appletalk
kernel_version needed, but can't be found
/ #

Get the same thing when I insmod or modprobe dummy and bsd_comp.

What must I do to be able to load the modules so they can be used?

Victor
