 My local configs in my home directory look like:

$ grep realaudio .mime.types .mailcap
.mime.types:type=audio/x-pn-realaudio      exts=ra,ram
.mailcap:audio/x-pn-realaudio; raplayer %s

 I suppose it's possible that the 'exts=' has something to do with it. I 
haven't had any problems bringing up realaudio sounds in Netscape...
