Yes, gcc on Linux kernel. 

Start by removing as much memory as possible. Leave 8M and compile. Then 
insert _another_ set of 8MB and compile. 

Just in case, check whether you have Parity or ECC enabled in the BIOS 
but no Parity or ECC memory...
