I'm still fighting with diald to not gnarl the connection over ethernet, and in the procces, I have managed to make it NEVER touch the ethernet, so its ok, but now diald doesn't want to dial. which is not ok. is there anyone out there that is using both a static ethernet network, and diald? any info will help.
