Works like a charm here. I replaced hilit19.el by hl319.el (the code says
it's at netcom.com:/pub/stig/src/{Beta,Release}/hl319.el.gz but I think that
directory has slightly changed). hl319 never left beta status as its no
longer supportted by its author but it vastly improves over hilit19. Also
have a look at the Debian vm-5.95 package and the examples in it.
