Oz Dror: I have Linux (elf kernel) 1.3.57, debian 1.0 packages When APM is set (after an idle period or by pressing the button, the system freezes. Why one knows why or how to fix this problem? (a) not all laptops are fully compliant with the apm standard (b) there've been apm fixes in more recent kernel versions (I saw something in the 1.3.61 announcement about support for some broken apm bioses). -- Raul
