Sorry, I didn't follow the discussion ... but I'm the maintainer of the
qt package.  Please read the copyright and readme I provided with the
package.  One of these files contains the mails from and to Arnt 
Gulbrandsen about the distribution of qt and about changes I had to make.

Please read it.
