Re: gcc can't find termcap library

Hello,

Actually this termcap thing is beginning to get annoying. There are at
least two other packages I want to add that are not supported by anyone
yet. The most important being scilab, but it won't compile the way debian
has changed termcaps. I must have spent a day trying to redo the makefile
and trying to create links to give the illusion that the libtermcaps were
there, but gave up trying. I added the other package that is supposed to
allow debian users to compile these types of packages and that didn't work
either. Is there anyway to get around this, or do I just need to go to Red
Hat or something? Is whatever improvement that is supposed to be gained by
this termcap change worth the hassle of having to fight to get all these
undebianized packages to work?

Craig
