This reminds me, is there a named daemon for Debian? I got mine from MIT but
I don't know where it came from.  As far as I can tell I am sort of my own
name server, that is, I have named running, but I don't know how it works.
I don't know how to set it up with inetd and I don't know where it gets the 
name information itself.  Anyone care to give a quick tutorial on how named
works?  (I don't have man pages either.)
Also, is there a small program that just resolves hostnames into IP addresses
and vice versa, a command-line-type thing?
