Compile Error: as86 not found?

When recompiling my .93R6 kernal to support iso9660, I ran across a
problem. At the very end of 'make zImage' it tried to run 'as86' which
isn't there (as a result, it didn't make the new kernal at all) Do I
just need to link it to /usr/bin/as? Or should as86 be there?

Matt
