I just mailed you the same message I've been sending to new volunteers.
It contains Ian Jackson's draft of a new set of packaging guidelines.
As soon as he's happy with this draft, it will be on the WWW site for all
to read. If anyone else needs this information, please tell me.

I personally can't answer more than 10% of messages on
debian-user+debian-devel. In fact, I can't even _read_ all of them.
I try to let others answer, and sometimes the result is no answer at all.

We need more maintainer mentors. I tried to draft Alvar to do this, but
I think he has a new baby and no time. If anyone else wants to be a maintainer
mentor, please tell me.
