It might be worth noting that I've made the bug report already, and I run
smail. I also have aliases for root to another account (and other aliases.
The log for smail says:
11/20/95 19:06:27: [m0tHU3P-000LdoC] received
| from: akira
| program: sendmail
| size: 209 bytes
11/20/95 19:06:28: [m0tHU3Q-000LdpC] received
| from: <+>
| host: orion.tower.com.au
| protocol: bsmtp
| program: smail
| size: 833 bytes
11/20/95 19:06:28: [m0tHU3Q-000LdpC] delivered
| to: akira
| orig-to: <akira>
| director: user
| transport: local
11/20/95 19:06:28: [m0tHU3Q-000LdpC] Completed.
11/20/95 19:06:28: [m0tHU3P-000LdoC] Completed.
Here I tried to use sudo as the user akira, and it sent a message back to him
saying there was no root user. It's definately a bug.
