can't compile dosemu

I had compiled previous versions of dosemu under the homegrown ex-MCC-Linux I
had used before I switched to Debian this spring. Now I tried to compile
dosemu-0.60.3 via 'make doeverything' and 'make' but it bombs (see below).

Bdale, I read your recent post on dosemu. Did you use a standard Debian
system or anything special?

Here is the error message:

gcc -c -O2 -funroll-loops -pipe -DUSING_NET -DX_SUPPORT \
-I/home/edd/dosemu-0.60.3/include -I/usr/src/linux-1.2.13/include \

-I/usr/X11R6/include -DPATH_LOCKD=\"/usr/spool/uucp\" \
-DNAME_LOCKF=\"LCK..\" -o int14.o int14.c

make: *** [doslibnew] Error 2
miles:/home/edd/dosemu-0.60.3 [root] #

I use gcc-2.6.3-4, libc-4.6.27-4 with a kernel compiled from 1.2.13-3.
Help, as usual, would be truly appreciated.
