About the serial problem... Tell him to boot off the floppy, mount -t ext2 the harddrive, and go in and mv rc.serial to something else, like old.rc.serial. After it boots (and it should), he can look through the rc.serial for the config that works for him. Ian has already uncommented the line that calls it in .92. Jim
