Ya te digo que no se si sera por eso, pero suena a temas de permisos.
Asi es como tengo el mio:
jmramirez@jmramirez:~$ ls -larth /sbin/shutdown
- -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 18K ene 1 06:35 /sbin/shutdown
Digo yo que hara uso de sudowers o algo parecido, Mi luser (jmramirez)
esta metido en /etc/sudoers.
