Si estás usando GNU/Linux (cualquiera) entonces SI estás detrás de un firewall. Normalmente (por defecto) es iptables, que puede manejarse con varios front-end gráficos o desde consola, que es un poco más complicado. Obtuve la misma respuesta que vos cuando intenté ejecutarlo hace unos días. Pero el mensaje no dice cual es el/los puerto/s que necesita abrir. Pienso que una solución sería parar un ratito el firewall y versi así funciona el netselect. Todavía no lo he intentado así pues quiero leer bien antes sobre el netselect. Si lo pruebo antes de que soluciones pondré aquí el resultado. SaludosAmplío: lo hice ahora: detuve el firewall, esperé unos cuantos segundos porque las redes suelen ser medio remolonas para darse cuenta de algunas modificaciones, después ejecuté en consola de root, con este resultado:
