Te cuento que, para probar, yo le copiarÃa el xorg.conf enteriro.Claro que no borres el tuyo, solamente cambiale el nombre (por alguno que después recuerdes). En los últimos Lenny's que instalé, en ninguno aparecía la sección "Screen" con todos los modos de pantalla.
Sólo había un escueto xorg.conf como el que describe Maximiliano.Solucioné el problema copiando los modos desde un xorg.conf de una PC un poco más "viejita".
Por supuesto esos valores son los que corresponden a mi combinación de tarjeta de video / monitor que no necesariamente pueden ser los tuyos, pero puedes probar.AvÃsanos y éxito Juan
