perdon por la demora en responder
el dpkg-reconfigure ya lo habia probado luego de instalar cada nuevo
paquete, pero sin exito, por sugerencia de un amigo revise /tmp a ver
si tenia todos los permisos y el sticky bit seteado y asi era
ls -l /
drwxrwxrwt 4 root 4096 ... tmp
ahora bien cuando intento levantar el X me salta el siguiente error

ahora bien /etc/X11/xserver/SecurityPolicy no existe, paso el
xorg.conf a ver si alguien se puede dar cuenta, porque
