Yo intentaria buscando en la documentacion.... que opinas?

Ademas, el archivo de conf que comentas esta perfectamente documentado:

ricardo@coyote:~$ wc -l /etc/dnsmasq.conf
367 /etc/dnsmasq.conf
y *renglones* mas arriba de lo que describes:

"# Send options to hosts which ask for a DHCP lease.
# See RFC 2132 for details of available options.
# Note that all the common settings, such as netmask and
# broadcast address, DNS server and default route, are given
# sane defaults by dnsmasq. You very likely will not need any

Leiste ya el RFC 2132?

Si el RFC 2132 no responde a lo que buscas, te pido disculpas y te insto
a enviar un correo a los autores, solicitando amplien esa info e
incluirla en las 367 lineas del dnsmasq.conf.
