X-Mins es todo lo que necesitas para conectarte
a una linux desde windows con entorno grafico
yo lo probe usando gdm y por supuesto xdmcp activo

proba con la opcion query le das la ip y listo
estas en la pantalla de inicio de gdm

lo probe local y funciona de maravillas
apenas notas la direrencia de velocidad en
el despliege de ventanas

lo probe por internet (no local) y ahí se me puso un poco lento
pero eso va en el ancho de banda de cada punto.
