Bueno, depende como lo mires, puede ser una ventaja ;)

Tienes que configurarlo para que acepte las conexiones desde donde te
interesa. Hasta donde sé viene de manera predetermianda aceptando solo
conexiones a localhost (gracias a Dios!)

PD: Para que mandas el main.cf?
