problemas con tarjeta d red



Wenasss  , sigo pegándome con woody, montando un router. Cuando casi lo
tenia  terminado ahora me sale un error al inicio:

       eth1: allocate dma memory failed
       eth1: allocate dma memory failed

y nada mas hacer login ejecuto ifconfig y solo aparece eth0 ( RealTek RTL8139 )
y localhost, eht1 ( Ovislink G83820-32 -chip : VT6122) no sale.

Si ejecuto ifup eth1 me produce esta salida:

       ifup: interface eth1 already configured

Si ejecuto ifdown eth1 (sin problemas) pero vuelvo a ejecutar ifup eth1 y ahora
me sale esto:

       eth1: allocate dma memory failed
       SIOCSIFFLAGS: Cannot allocate memory
       eth1: allocate dma memory failed
       SIOCSIFFLAGS: Cannot allocate memory       

Buscando por google no aparece este error, alguno parecido dicen que es un conflicto
de irqs,y aconsejan desactivar la opción del plug&play de la bios pero en mi equipo
( Intel Pentium MMX, 166 MHz ) no aparece esa opción.
Lo mas raro es que a veces aparece el error y no me funciona la tarjeta de red de la
lan interna ( la que hace nat a la red interna ) y otras veces funciona sin hacer nada.
Ya no se que hacer, o si dar el equipo por muerto.
Os pego aquí la salida del dmesg por si veis algo para solucionarlo.
