Buenas, puedes creerme. He instalado muchísimas veces (cosas de
novatos, jejeje) Sarge y luego SID a partir del CD NetInstall que
encontrarás aqui:
http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/index.en.html
o a veces aqui: http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/daily/
y nunca he tenido ningún problema. Quizás la única duda que me surge
és saber si és mejor cojer, por ejemplo en estos momentos, el CD con
el Release Candidate 1 o el CD diario.
Por cierto, con estas versiones tendrás el kernel 2.6
