Problema con el Kernel

Hola,
tengo conocimientos muy basicos de linux. Estoy intentando hacer que 
funcione el sonido (una realtek integrada) y no consigo nada.
Cuando intento hacer make xconfig, para configurar el nucleo... me da 
error. Dice algo asi como, bueno exactamente esto:
