parcheando el kernel

 Hola
Tengo un estra#o problema cuando intento parchear el kernel, las primera lineas del patch son asi: */ diff -Nru a/Documentation/DocBook/Makefile b/Documentation/DocBook/Makefile
       --- a/Documentation/DocBook/Makefile    Sat Oct 25 11:45:09 2003
       +++ b/Documentation/DocBook/Makefile    Sat Oct 25 11:45:09 2003
       @@ -12,7 +12,7 @@/*
por lo tanto copie el pacth bajo la carpeta del kernel-source y prove patch con 'p1'
*/        >   patch -p1 <patch-2.6.0-test9
       patching file Documentation/DocBook/Makefile
       Reversed (or previously applied) patch detected! Assume -R? [n] /*
y esta pregunta se repite pa' cada pregunta, entonces por las dudas prove tambien con el 'p0' y ahi recivo:
*/        >patch -p0 <patch-2.6.0-test9
       can't find file to patch at input line 4
       Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
       The text leading up to this was:/**/
       --------------------------
|diff -Nru a/Documentation/DocBook/Makefile b/Documentation/DocBook/Makefile
       |--- a/Documentation/DocBook/Makefile    Sat Oct 25 11:45:09 2003
       |+++ b/Documentation/DocBook/Makefile    Sat Oct 25 11:45:09 2003
       --------------------------
       File to patch: /*

Bueno gracias x anticipado
