Dependencias chungas ???

Iba yo tan dispuesto a actualizar mi SID y me encuentro con esto:

[root@Harry miguev]# apt-get dist-upgrade --fix-missing
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Calculating Upgrade... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  blusa gadfly gdk-imlib-dev gnupelas libgnutls-dev libwxgtk2.2-python
  python-cdb python-cddb python-expect python-gd python-gdk-imlib
  python-glade python-gnome python-gnuplot python-gtk python-ldap
  python-netcdf python-opengl python-oss python-popy python-pyao
  python-pyogg python-pyvorbis python-scientific python-slang python-stats
  python-twofish python-xmlbase solarwolf solfege woody
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  gdk-imlib1-dev libapache-mod-python2.1 libgnutls5-dev libopencdk-dev
  libopencdk0 tix8.1
The following packages have been kept back
  libti68k realplayer
167 packages upgraded, 6 newly installed, 31 to remove and 2 not
upgraded.
Need to get 150MB of archives. After unpacking 31.4MB will be used.

¿Por qué me amenaza con desinstalarme 31 paquetes de Python (y
programas hechos en Python)? Personalmente no puedo admitir esto
porque Python es mi lenguaje de programación para casi todo ¿será
cuestión de esperar a que actualicen las dependencias? ¿o es que
"tengo que" cambiar a python 2.2?

Saludos y gracias.
