Bueno, después de instalar php4-mysql (gracias Celso) al poner en el 
navegador http://localhost/admin.php me suelta toda esta ristra de mensajes:

........................que debe ocurrir???? He comprobado que los 
permisos de /language/lang-english.php esten a 777.
