Se você não configura seu sistema, ele não vai reter este tipo de informação
por muito tempo.
Procure logs que claramente mostram quando um boot ocorre, e veja se deu
sorte e eles cobrem o período de interesse. /var/log/kernel.log* vale uma
tentativa, por exemplo.
Os logs binários usados pelo last são rotacionados. Leia a manpage do
comando last, e olhe se alguma versão rotacionada (/var/log/wtmp.*) existe
que cubra o período de interesse.
