Kernel 3.0
Olá!
Reparei esse dias que o note se apresentava um pouco mais lento,
então reparei no monitor de frequência que sempre variava pela demanda,
"ondemand mode", estava travado em 1,00GHz, aí vi que estava em
"perfomance mode", então tentei passar para "ondemand" e nada, então
pensei: "Espera aí! Meu processador é de 2,00 GHz e não 1,00 GHz! O que
está acontecendo?".
Fui ver o arquivo /proc/cpuinfo (abaixo) e me pareceu normal a
menos de "cpu MHz : 1000.002" com processamento no talo! Deveria
ser 2000.000 ou próximo disso!
Então fui ver informações no kernel com dmesg sobre a cpu
(mais abaixo), foi detectada normalmente mas algumas linhas, como
"Switched to NOHz mode on CPU #n", e outrasque se repetem me chamaram a
atenção:
"ondemand governor failed, too long transition latency of HW, fallback
to performance governor"
Em suma, o Kernel 3.0 está "perdendo" metade dos meus
processadores! Ou eu estou errado? Alguém sabe se tem alguma
configuração a se fazer para o kernel reconhecer corretamente? Ou este
1,00 GHz está correspondendo de forma errônea aos 2,00 GHz?
Bom, em todo caso, vou voltar ao 2.6 por enquanto, pois do
resto não notei nada diferente.
