Também testei e tive estes mesmo problemas.
Uma coisa que vc pode fazer é usar o modo chroot na pasta de instalação
do ltsp e usar o aptitude -f install que ele termina de instalar. Mas
este erro de perl vai continuar.

Como eu tinha que por em produção e não tinha tempo para testar muito,
acabei fazendo com o 4.2 mesmo.
