Juliano,

Tenta fazer o comando abaixo

modprobe -l | grep 8139

Se ele não retornar nada e porque voce não tem suporte "via modulo" a sua 
placa de rede, e pelo que voce respondeu no email anterior, é o seu Kernel 
que está sem esse suporte.
