kernel panic com frame buffer

Olah todos,

Qndo eu tento utilizar o lilo com vga=791 (decimal) ou vga=317 (octal)
ele me retorna o erro abaixo e naum entra no debian.
Estou usando kernel 2.4.17 com suporte a frame-buffer, console VESA VGA,
e suporte a 16, 24 e 32 bpp.
