E no kernel 2.4.x tem alguma diferença ? Nunca estudei esta parte de
redes muito afundo, nestas férias e até o final do semestre quero me
aprfundar mais nesta área. Se naum me engano, no kernel 2.4.x tem o
firewall incluido, bastando ser habilitado e configurado ?
Os textos que voce encontra nos links acima valem tanto para o kernel 2.2 e
2.4, a unica coisa eh que no kernel 2.4 voce precisa habilitar o ipchains, mas
nada lhe impede de utilizar o iptables para fazer o masquerading. Na net voce
vai encontrar bastante informacao sobre iptables e masquerading
