Erros de "Unresolved symbols..." Após instalação do kernel 2.2.20...

Ulá pessoas! Beleza pura?!
Hoje de manhã fiquei sabendo sobre o kernel 2.2.20, pelo apt 
baixei e
instalei o kernel-image-2.2.20... Durante a própria 
instalação ele já
acusou: "Unresolved symbols: depmode /lib/nodules/2.2.20/divas.o e eicon.o"
Depois, qnd reiniciei, ele continuou assim... Durante a iniciação do 
kernel ele acusa a mesma coisa...
Q q eu fiz de errado? Ou o q eu deixei de fazer?

(se tiver alguma coisa a ver com kernel-image-src-2.2.20, eu já estou 
providenciando... e agora?), caso contráio, ignorem...
