Software RAID1 - ReiserFS - problemy z superblockiem

Próbuje uruchomić softwerowego raida1 (mirroring) na dwóch dyskach
IDE. Robiłem to według tego opisu:
"Migrating To RAID1 Mirror on Sarge (Updated)"

Ogólnie chodzi o to aby dodać do urządzeń mdX dyski hdaX oraz hdbX.
Według opisu najpierw trzeba przenieść cały system na urządzenia mdX
(faktycznie to hdbX) i z tego wystartować a następnie dodać dyski hda.
Jednak podczas pierwszego startu system nie może zamontować urządzeń
od md1 w górę, md0 montuje. Robiłem to kilka krotonie również na ext3
i ciągle problem z superblockiem na tych urządzeniach (wcześniej przed
restartem można je było "ręcznie" zamontować).
Strat systemu:

itd. dla pozostałych urzadzeń md4, md3(nie dotyczy bo to swap), md2, md1
...
fsck failed. Please repair manually.
CONTROL-D will exit from this shell and continue system startup.

Można wystartować przez Control-D, ale podmontowana jest tylko
partycja "/" (czyli tak naprawdę hdb1). Czytałem różne opisy aby użyć
dla ext3 e2fsck oraz resize2fs, jednak to nic nie zmienia

Jeżeli komuś udało się uruchomić softwerowego raida na reiserfs według
opisu z Debian-Administration, proszę o poradę, gdzie mogłem popełnić
błąd.
